Apps
The connected work apps and integrations that feed your Twin's knowledge — fully under your control.
What Are Apps?
Apps is where you connect and manage the work tools that supply your Twin with knowledge — email, calendar, docs, chat, ticketing systems, and any approved MCP servers your org has configured.
Each connected app has two dimensions:
- Your Twin can read — the app is feeding content into your Twin's knowledge base.
- Your Twin can act — the app exposes actions your Twin (or an Agent) can take on your behalf, like creating a doc or sending an email.
Some apps offer both, some just one.
What You Control
For every connected app, you decide:
- Whether to connect or disconnect it.
- Which capabilities to grant — read, act, or both, where the app supports both.
- Action hints — context that tells your Twin how to use the app's actions effectively (when to write to a doc vs. just summarize, for example).
Disconnecting an app immediately stops it from feeding your Twin or executing actions. Content that was already indexed stays put unless you delete it from Library or the relevant source.
Approved Apps and MCP Servers
The list of apps available to you depends on what your org's admin has approved. Some apps are standard (email, calendar); others — especially MCP servers for tools like Jira, Linear, or custom internal systems — need admin approval before they appear in your Apps page.
If an app you want isn't on the list, ask your admin to enable it.
Where to Find It
Open My Twin and navigate to Apps. You'll see the apps currently available to you, with connection status for each.
